Thoughtful Reminder
I found myself thinking today
about how nice it would be
to be able to say
that you and me
could go about daily life
without concern of any strife,
whether it is far or very near,
always free from the fear
of what we might see and hear
or even what must be done.
Then, I thought of the divine Son
and what all would be undone
if He had chosen to do the same
and not in His Father's holy name.
